Welcome! My name is Carlijn, and I’d like to take you on my journey toward living my dream
life.
For years, I searched for balance between work and freedom. I’ve worked in various sectors
and even changed jobs just to have time for a puppy. But following the traditional path never
felt right to me. I knew life could be different.
A unique opportunity came our way: a chance to rent a house in Sweden’s wilderness for a
year. Without hesitation, we gave up our house, and I managed to transition my current job to
100% remote work. On September 27th, 2024, I moved from the Netherlands to Sweden with
my boyfriend and our labrador Cody.
We now enjoy nature right at our doorstep, going trail running through the forest, taking long
walks with Cody, and coming home to a cozy place where we have coffee in front of the
fireplace.
The key to sustaining this lifestyle is my own business, which I’m excited to tell you about.
I’ve discovered a community that helps people grow toward living on their own terms,
focusing on personal development in mental, physical, and financial well-being. The
motivation this has given me is incredible! I’ve connected with like-minded people who have
shown me that it’s truly possible to design a life on your own terms, and I won’t let go of this
feeling of freedom again!
Hard work isn’t a problem when you’re doing it for yourself. That’s exactly the energy I feel
now, living a slow life in a beautiful location with my partner and our dog by my side.
I can’t wait to see you start your own journey. Everyone deserves to live the life they’ve
always dreamed about!

I opened up my mind, changed my perspectives and decided to just say yes to the unknown.
I knew I had nothing to lose, and a life of freedom to gain.

The question I get asked the most:'How do I know if this is for me?'
